I usually use RSS to track comments. From the fact that this is not a convenient solution because there are comments from the most recent to oldest. So I read the answer to someone's post and then the post. I don't fit the layout.

Recently I used coComments. Unfortunately, after what they did in the new version, I thought, that blood will flood me. Going to your page with the comments I had a beautiful view of a list of all topics containing new comments are bold. This is what has been done to this site - as is now the head-two-zero - to total defeat. The view is not completely comfortable. Topics are tracked and paging to that on one side is the far too few! Overall, I am uncomfortable because it was a great service for tracking comments. So I started to use co.mments.com that when it comes to appearance is a little better. Otherwise irritate me. You may czepiam but irritate me his "looseness" coComment was more "compact" and is just a few topics and I have already packed the entire page just 3-4 themes.
